Join us on an adventure through Malaysia as we traverse the country through the Nine Emperor Gods Festival – a sacred tradition where only vegan food is served near the temple grounds.
Start by exploring the bustling streets of the country’s capital and the delicious spices Malay food has to offer. Then road trip to the luscious highlands and fruit orchards and enjoy home cooked meals and a hotpot in the mist. We will then transition to the vegan food capital of Malaysia with colorful art pouring on nearly every street. It’s time to explore the diversity of the nation’s cuisine, religions, and how food intersects. Likewise, this is where we will partake in the Nine Emperor Gods Festival. End the trip with an ethical island escape and enjoy an animal-free mangrove tour, appreciation of kampung life, and understanding the plant-based side of Malaysia’s agriculture – including a cooking class with traditional dishes and desserts.
